Kim Possible Cartoon - Conquers Cartoonland!
This fantasy animation features Kim Possible Cartoon heroine, a girl who can do anything. She can stop an avalanche or an evil super villain. She goes to high school with her friend Ron Stoppable and his pink pet rat mole Rufus by day and by night she stops the villains that threaten the world. Ron provides some amateur comic relief and is always on call to make a fool out of himself. He is portrayed as having feelings for the main character of the Kim Possible Cartoon, but these feelings are left in the backseat to the heroines’ adventures. Ron’s pet, Rufus tags along but always steps in to save the day. The Kim Possible Cartoon heroine is helped by a genius computer nerd Wade, and others that she’s helped in the past, who give her free rides all around the planet to where she’s needed.
The Kim Possible Cartoon lead character is a likeable and interesting red headed character in this animation. She’s played as part heroine and part insecure schoolgirl and young fans can easily identify with the pitfalls of school life she encounters.
The villains range from the mad scientist Drakken and Shego who bicker back and forth, to a mad golfer Duff Killigan. Then there is the thief Señor Senior Sr. and his lazy son Señor Senior Jr. Sr. who’s voice is the entertaining Ricardo Montalban of Fantasy Island and Star Trek.
The Villain Files, available on dvd, contains four action packed Kim Possible Cartoon episodes spotlighting these characters. In “Blush,” Drakken sprays the heroine of Kim Possible Cartoon with a gas that causes her to disappear when she is embarrassed. While Ron travels to South America to find an antidote, our heroine goes on a date with her school heartthrob Josh while Drakken and Shego follow along to try to humiliate her.
“Animal Attraction” has the character of Kim Possible Cartoon reluctantly caught up in the Animology craze, which assigns a color and animal to those who answer a questionnaire that defines one’s personality and soul mate. Señor Senior Sr. steals a freezing machine and uses it on the members of the Billionaire Club to get revenge for expelling him.
In “Number One,” Kim’s cheerleader rival Bonnie challenges the heroine of the Kim Possible Cartoon to sell chocolates to raise money for the squad. The Kim Possible Cartoon heroine joins forces with Agent Will Do to find a prominent horticulturist who’s been kidnapped by Duff Killigan who wants to turn the globe into one big golf course. Their adventure leads them to the black market for garden supplies and golfer Duff Killigan, who has plans for world domination.
Finally, “Showdown at the Crooked D”, Kim’s family visit her uncle’s ranch in Montana, where she finds her cousin Joss has become her biggest fan. In a nearby meeting of the world’s top geniuses, Drakken, upset at not being invited, tricks them into wearing hats that turn them into babbling fools.
