NASCAR Tickets - Advice on how to get them!

Want to go to a NASCAR race? Find out where the best places are to get your tickets! Are you a race fan? Do you want to go to a race in the Nextel Cup series? NASCAR tickets are a hot commodity these days, as racing has grown in popularity by leaps and bounds over the last several years. There are many options out there for buying tickets, but you should plan on spending a good bit of money.

My husband and I got tickets for the Sharpie 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway in 2005. A ticket for this race is hard to come by because most of the season ticket holders do not sell. However, if they do, they want a pretty penny for them. We found our NASCAR tickets for Bristol online on a website called TicketsMyWay.com. We bought them in February (the race is in August) and we spent over $500 for two tickets. In my opinion, experiencing a race at Bristol, especially a night race, is worth every penny you spend. I was fortunate enough to see my favorite driver, Rusty Wallace, race that night. Bristol was his favorite track and he had a great career record there, so of course they had a special night planned for Rusty to honor him, as he retired at the end of the 2005 season. Besides getting to be there for that, the race itself is great to watch. The track is so small you can see everything. If you are looking into buying NASCAR tickets, Bristol is a great place to go to watch a race.

We have also bought NASCAR tickets at Dover, otherwise known as the Monster Mile. We have actually been to Dover twice. Both times we purchased the tickets from season ticket holders. Dover is a great track to watch a race, too. If you want to go to a race to see as much as you can, a small track like Dover or Bristol is the way to go. Before buying NASCAR tickets, get information about all the tracks, seating, etc. to help you make your choice.

My husband and I got NASCAR tickets for a race at Pocono in Pennsylvania several years ago. Of all of my race experiences, this track was my least favorite, because it is bigger and you can’t see the whole track. We had good seats, on the front stretch pretty high up, but we still had to strain to see the back stretch. We bought these NASCAR tickets from a season ticket holder. As you can see, it pays to know someone! If you want the experience of a longer track, you may consider Pocono, Daytona, or Talladega.

Another way to obtain NASCAR tickets is through package-deal offers. These package deals usually include transportation by bus, hotel accommodations, NASCAR tickets (sometimes Busch race as well) and food coupons. These deals are pretty reasonable, especially considering you don’t have to worry about parking.

I would recommend checking out e-bay and other sites like TicketsMyWay.com to find the ticket to a great racing experience.
