Bible Verses - Make it part of your everyday routine

bible verses - treat yourself to a anxiety free time to pray Being a wife and mother these days is hard work. Sometimes I feel like I just can’t make it through the day. Sometimes what gets me through is thinking of bible verses. Bible verses can bring us through stressful days. The bible should be our first resource for help any time we are feeling down. God’s word through scripture, even a single verse, can be very comforting. There are bible verses about motherhood, children, marriage, patience, comfort, perseverance, strength, fear, worry, and much, much more. For someone who is not familiar with the Holy Bible, you may think it only contains old stories about things that happened over two thousand years ago. While this is true and these stories have much to teach us, the bible offers so much more through bible verses. Sometimes bible verses can speak volumes, and many times God leads us to the bible verses that we need in a particular situation or season in our lives.

Some of my favorite bible verses are and how they can be applied in our lives follow.

Motherhood

Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6

Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from Him. Psalm 127:3

Children’s children are a crown to the aged, and parents are the pride of their children. Proverbs 17:6

Marriage

A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She bring him good, not harm, all the days of her life. Proverbs 31:10-12

Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all. Proverbs 31:28-29

Strength

I can do everything through Him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13

Jesus said, “My grace is sufficient for you fro my power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Psalm 46

Worry

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7

Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden light.”
Matthew 11:28-30

Comfort

“As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you,” says the Lord. Isaiah 66:13

I will fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4

The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1

Try memorizing these bible verses or other bible verses that apply to your life or a situation you are going through. Many times if you are fearful about something, memorizing bible verses and repeating these bible verses can be a great comfort.
