Pet Stores - New puppy PetSmart obedience
I used to love going to pet stores when I was growing up. Most of them used to be inside the malls, which was one of the only reasons I ever went. So I could go see all the cute little puppies. They used to look as us through the window with their sad little puppy dog eyes as if saying “please take me home and I will love you”. They were so precious. Thank God I was very young and didn’t have lots of money because I surely would have bought them all.
The thing about pet stores now, like petsmart, is that they don’t sell puppies or kittens, the put them up for adoption. I think that is a great idea. The problem with pet stores selling puppies and kittens was that most of the time people were just walking through the mall and the notice all of the cute little puppies and kitten and they have to have one.
Why not? They have the money and they think their cute enough so why not just take one home for the kids. First problem with buying a pet from pet stores is that even though they say your getting pure bred pups, you actually have know idea where they have come from. And some times puppies have health problems. Another problem is that people tend to act on spur of the moment feeling and they do not have time for a dog in their life right now. But it’s often too late; they already brought the little thing home. About a week later they realize that this thing is out of control and their taking in the local animal shelter. I think this is the reason most pet stores got out of the selling business and more into finding happy homes for pets who really needed them with people who really love them.
I do occasionally go into pet stores to buy toys and grooming tools, but one of my most favorite pet stores is Petsmart. I love that place. I’m not sure if many pet stores allow you to bring your pets into the store, but Petsmart does.
In fact, not only can you bring your pets in with you while you’re shopping, you can have them groomed or you can take them to obedience class. Another reason why Petsmart is one of the best pet stores.
I mostly go to petsmart for the dog stuff. I know that they have all kinds of other pets like cats, fish, hamsters, and a lot more. Petsmart is the biggest of all pet stores. I could spend a day in there just watching all the dog classes, reading books, and checking out all of their cool grooming supplies. And I buy a lot of food a treats for my dogs,
Pet stores are bigger now then they ever were. People just can get enough for their furry little members of the family. More and more each day our pets are becoming more like our children, sometimes better than our children. So I’m sure their going to keep these pet stores around, because the would of pets is only getting bigger.
I just hope some time soon they will move some Petsmart pet stores closer to our area, because I would like to get there a lot more. It probably won’t be long till more pet stores get the same idea.
