Baby Tigers - Not a good pet

This wild animal will never be able to be tamed. It need the respect any wild animal deserves whether it is in the wild or at your local zoo.

These cubs are always hungry and eat several times every day. Each feeding brings them several pounds of raw meat to fill their stomach.
You can find baby tigers at most zoos. Their home is in the deserts of Africa, but this cat seems to thrive in captivity also. There are no poachers to try to kill them for their fur. They have no real enemies while they are in captivity.
Baby tigers put on weight extremely quickly. When a cub has access to ample food, they put on about five pounds every week. That is a lot of weight to gain in one week!
While they may look to be cute and cuddly, baby tigers need the respect that any tiger should be given. They are beautiful creatures that can never be fully tamed. It is important that that education be taught to people that think these cats would make great pets. They can strike at any time, and there strike could be deadly.

Leave working and living with a tiger to the professionals that have experience with these cats. You never know what they could do to you if you were to bring them into your home.
