What are some of the early signs of pregnancy that you can look for if you suspect that you are pregnant? How are you going to know for sure?
Early signs of pregnancy are going to be different among women and while there may be one individual who may have all of the signals, another may not have any at all. Some may experience symptoms with their body as soon as conception has occurred and others may take a few weeks to show.
You can rest assured, that one of the first early signs of pregnancy accompanied with a missed period, is that a woman will experience vomiting and or nausea. This is commonly called “morning sickness” here in the United States. Although it is called morning sickness, it doesn’t necessarily mean that they will experience it in the morning. Women can experience it just about any time of the day. There is no explanation for why women experience these symptoms, but they can be alleviated by eating crackers or small meals throughout the day.
Frequent urination and tender or swollen breasts are also early signs of pregnancy. Because the uterus becomes swelled when a woman is pregnant, it puts pressure on their bladder which make them feel as if they need to urinate more frequently. Tender and swollen breasts are caused by the increased amount of HCG that is at the start of implantation.
Other early signs of pregnancy include feeling tired of sluggish. Women go through major changes in their hormones and this not only causes them to feel tired and sluggish but could also cause them to feel dizzy or faint. This is also due to their growing uterus which is compressing the major arteries in their legs.
Constipation, irritability and heartburn are also unpleasant early signs of pregnancy. Also constipation isn’t usually bad at first, it can increase throughout the nine months. Irritability is usually present during the first trimester but also decreases. Unfortunately, heartburn and acid reflux are not just early signs of pregnancy. They increase throughout the entire time a woman is pregnant.
If you are experiencing any early signs of pregnancy and feel as though there’s a good possibility you are pregnant, buy an over the counter test or see your doctor to get it confirmed so you can begin taking care of yourself and your wonderful baby that is to be born. An over the counter test is available at grocery or drugstores and if you get an accurate positive result at home, it is recommended to see your doctor to begin prenatal care.
