Christmas songs seem to always get people in the holiday mood. Most of the times, Christmas songs make people do things they don’t usually do. I guess people seem to think that because they hear holiday music, it is time to be nice to others. Who actually knows?
Have you ever noticed that the day after thanksgiving (Black Friday) every store plays Christmas songs? I mean I enjoy them my self, but by the time December 15 comes around, you kind of get sick of them. I think stores just want to play them to make you realize it is time to shop and spend money.
Christmas songs do put definitely put you in a good mood, though. It seems to be that you can be so mad or upset about something, but the second you hear a one, you feel your sprits lift. You get this happy feeling in your heart. They can always make you smile. For a lot of people, Christmas songs remind them of the one they love.
Christmas songs also seem to make you think about your family. The holiday season is one of the best times of year to spend time with family. It doesn’t matter what everyone is going through, because everyone is always there for his or her family during this holiday season. That’s why most families enjoy singing carols together. We all enjoy singing them, even if we cannot sing. Here is a list of a few great Christmas songs:
Deck the Halls
Jingle Bells
Come all ye Faithful
Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer
Frosty the Snowman
Away in a Manger
Upon a Snowy Night
The holiday season is mostly the best for the children. They get to wait for Santa Claus and their presents. They get to leave cookies and carrots and milk out for him. They also get to sit on Santa’s lap and tell him what they want this year. All of these things make children look forward to the big day. But have you ever noticed the look on a child’s face when you ask them if they want to sing carols? Their whole face lights up with excitement. They especially enjoy singing carols, when they know all the words to them.
We all just need to remember to enjoy the holiday season and to also sing out hearts out during this magically time. If every one did that maybe there would be no more scrooges during the holiday season. The whole reason we have Christmas songs is to be jolly, caring, and sharing
