Preschool Online Games - Learning made fun!
Free preschool online games are easy to find on the internet. There are so many websites which offer creative, and fun, preschool online games, the great challenge for us as parents is to sort through them in order to choose what sites are the best ones for our kids.
While looking for preschool online games for my young children, I keep these questions in mind: First; are they age appropriate? Second; are they user friendly? (Are these preschool online games designed in a way that will show children how they can navigate freely on the computer with confidence?) Third; are they fun to play, but at the same time, will these particular preschool online games help the children learn new ideas and concepts? Forth; are they interactive, and will they keep young minds busy?
I have found such a site which offers many preschool online games to the public. Not only that, it offers information and tips for parents, along with many teaching tools for all elementary years up to sixth grade. The site itself is called ‘Kaboose’. Their mission statement reads; “Our mission is to improve the quality of family life by connecting parents and their kids in a fun, educational and safe environment enhancing both on and offline time together.” ‘Kaboose’ has three properties; first, ‘Funschool,’ on this property, you will find preschool online games starting at about three years old to activities for children up to age eleven. Second, ‘Zeeks’, this site is geared toward kids age nine to fourteen. Third, (you can easily spend the day right here), ‘Kaboose’ itself is a resource for parents. The combined result offers over 800 interactive and educational activities. These range from preschool online games teaching about numbers and shapes to teaching about geography, math, even history for grades three to six.
