Does your family have a “family game night”? A night where you sit around as a family and just play games. No television, no computer no phones any distractions. In a time where work has become the number one priority in some households there should be at least one night designated to the family where you leave your work behind and play games with your kids. There are so many games you could play. From board games to video games to playing hide and go seek. These are just a few games you could play with your kids.
If you don’t have a family and you like to play games there are millions of web sites you can visit where you can download games or play against an opponent or just play games youself.You can even purchase games over the internet or a store that sells computer games. You can even find games that are educational. So before you say no to your child when they ask if they can play games on the computer remember it can be educational.
I tried to visit a website called games.com. I had so much trouble trying to register on this site. The homepage claimed to be user friendly and family oriented. Well I guess I will never know because I will not return there to play games.
I then decided to check out yahoo.games.com. The home page looked good. They offered a variety of games. Card games included spades, pyramids and holdm poker. Board games such as chess and dominoes were offered. There were also puzzle games and arcade games. I decided to play hold em poker. In order to play games on this site you have to register for a yahoo ID. No thanks. That was too much work for me. I did check out one more web site called shockwave.com. This site offered free online games, downloads and multiplayer games. They had action games and mind games to name a few. I clicked on mountain bike madness. I was taken right to the game no registration. I think I will come back to play games later. I didn’t feel it is necessary to give out my name and address and make up a username and password just to play games on the internet, so I would rate(out of the three sites I looked at)shockwave he best.
Have some fun once in a while, whether with your family or all by yourself and play games.
