Pear - Summer’s juiciect fruit



PearSummer is the time of the year when you want to enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables.  When you want to enjoy a delicious strawberry, tangy watermelon, or a juicy pear.  They just taste better in the hot summer sun.  They cool you off and refresh your palate.  They are just wonderful to eat under the hot sun.
 
When you eat a pear, start by washing it.  You never know what chemicals have been added to it to make it bug free.  Next, cut it in half.  This will allow you to see any brown spots your fruit may have inside it.  If there are any, simply cut them out with a knife.  They spoil the taste of the fruit.  When this is done, you can sit back and enjoy one of the finest tastes of summer.
 
Search for a pear with a light green skin that is firm, but not hard.  You want a pear that is ripe, but not one that will spoil within the next day or two.  Also, check to make sure there are no bruises on your fruit.  These would appear as brown marks on the skin of the fruit.
 
There is no end to what you can do with a pear.  If they are the correct size, you may can them to use at a later date.  You should use the fruits with really good size for canning.  The ones that are pretty firm.  This will allow them to soften in canning juice without them getting mushy.
 
Planting a pear tree is a good way to get the fruit you love without spending a lot of money for them in the stores.  Pick out what type you like best, plant it, and within three years, you will have the fruit you love without buying them in the stores.  It could save you a lot of money in the long run.
 
The color of a pear can vary depending on the variety.  Keep whatever variety you like best in you home all the time for nutritional snacking.  If you have a tree, begin harvesting your fruit at the beginning of August, or when they are soft enough to eat.  Adding a little healthy food to your diet is a change that will do your body good.
 
Eating a delicious pear is a good way to add vitamins to your diet.  Try it and your body will thank you for it.  The next time you want a snack, do not reach for something sweet, reach for a pear for a healthier snack.
