Olive Garden Italian Restaurant is by far the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. It doesn’t matter what time of day you go, there is always people waiting in line at Olive Garden. You just give your name to the hostess and they give you a thing that lights up when your table is ready. The waiting line shows you how good the food is because it’s always packed and people don’t mind waiting for a table. If it wasn’t worth waiting for, they would probably head to another restaurant down the road. Most of the time there are seats available at the bar, so you can sit and have a drink while you’re waiting for a table. They have a large selection of beer, mixed drinks, wine, or soda. When your table is ready they will bring your drinks from the bar to your table and add them into the same check. Olive Garden is a nice place to go with your entire family or a romantic night out. You can find something one the menu for everyone. They even have seafood dishes! You can go onto the Olive Garden web site to find the one closest to your home or you can view their specials. You may even find a free recipe you’d like to try at home. If you’re planning a vacation you can for an Olive Garden close to where you will be visiting.
At Olive garden they always start you out with salad and breadsticks. I could make an entire meal out of that. The salad is in a large bowl, fresh with dressing already on it, and the waiter puts fresh grated parmesan cheese on it while he is standing at your table. With the salad they bring a basket of garlic bread sticks. The best part, they keep on bringing more.
I order the same thing each time I go, Chicken parmesan. Not only do they fill you up on salad and breadsticks but they always give very generous portions. At Olive garden the chicken parmesan comes loaded with mozzarella cheese and their own tomato sauce and a big plate of pasta. I can only ever manage to eat a few bites then I get them to box it up for home. It’s just as good the next day.
I have been to a couple of different Olive Garden restaurants. I even went to one in Orlando, Florida. One thing I can definitely say is, the service has always been good at Olive Garden. They seem to be right on top of things, to make sure they are doing everything to make you feel at home. Everything we have always ordered has always been excellent.
