Are you in the mood for some great Italian food, great service and a relaxed atmosphere all in one restaurant? That sounds good to me, so let’s look at the Macaroni Grill. I have never been to the Macaroni Grill but have several friends that have and they gave positive feedback. I decided to go online to the website to look for information and to check out the menu. Depending on when you decide to eat you can choose lunch or dinner. I decided to check out the lunch menu. Here is some of what they offered. Seven different Antipasti salads ranging in price from $5.49 to $9.99. Not a bad price considering you cold make a meal out of one of the salads.
You could choose Tomato Brushetta, Mozzarella Fritta, Shrimp and Artichoke Dip, Mussels Tarantina, Calamari Fritti, Romano’s Sampler and The Macaroni Grill chef’s choice, Mushroom Ravioli. Now is salad doesn’t quite do it for you there are several other choices on the menu such as Stuffed Pasta. The Macaroni grill offers Chicken Cannelloni a hand rolled pasta stuffed with oven roasted chicken melted cheese and spinach. It is baked in an Asiago cream sauce then topped with tomato sauce. All this for $7.99. Or you could have twice baked lasagna with meatballs, lasagna Bolognese, or lobster ravioli, and the chef’s pick. Macaroni Grill offers other favorites for pasta. Fettuccine Alfredo, shrimp Diavolo over linguine, spaghetti & Meatballs, or you could create your own pasta by choosing from six different pastas seven different sauces and eleven seasonal ingredients.
If pasta is not what you are craving you can try Macaroni grill for their Brick oven pizza. And Calzonetto They offer Pizza Margherita which features the classic taste of tangy tomato sauce, mozzarella fresh tomatoes and herbs for $8.49. The chef recommends the BBQ Chicken Pizza, spicy Italian BBQ chicken smothered in bubbling mozzarella and pecorino cheese. Another favorite is Grilled Chicken Caesar Calzonetto.
Another great thing about the Macaroni Grill is that they offer food from the land or the sea. Grilled Salmon or simple salmon, chicken portabella, rib eye steak, halibut and pork chops are just a few of the entrees you can get in place of the great Italian food that the Macaroni Grill has to offer.
The Macaroni Grill also serves drinks that will compliment your meal. The menu has a suggestion of wine to go with whatever entrée you decide on. I think I will be eating here the next time I go out to eat.
