Jello Recipes - This is not the same gelatin you grew up with!

You would not believe the creative Jell-O recipes out there! The best thing about them is how easily they can be prepared.

I found a great Jell-O recipe using orange gelatin and vanilla ice cream called Orange Cream shots. This is just one of the wonderful Jell-O recipes for kids that kids can make.

Other Jell-O recipes include great centerpieces that can be used for a party of any kind. Believe it or not, I found a Jell-O recipe called “Broken Glass Cake!” This edible art is almost as fun to make as it is to eat! Who could resist using simple Jell-O recipes to create a edible spectacle fit for any table. You can simply add fruit and gelatin to water and create a dish for dessert in any flavor you choose. Or, maybe you are looking for Jell-O recipes for easy salads that even the children can’t resist.

For a no bake meal on a hot night in summer, try a Chicken Taco Salad using, you guessed it, Jell-O recipes! There are so many categories in which to choose!

Another beautiful way to mix artwork with gelatin is using mini colored lights and a clear pedestal cake server. Placing the lights under the server filled with the flavor of your choice mold creates the effect of stained glass. What a great Christmas centerpiece!

Here are some more creative Jell-O recipes. How about telling your family you are serving “Beans in a cloud”….or perhaps having the children help you create a “Floating Island”. Only you can imagine the memories you can create with Jell-O recipes.

For those coffee lovers out there, I even saw Jell-O recipes creatively called “Coffee gelatin” I know, I know…just think about it.

These great Jell-O recipes and many more can be found easily on the Internet by looking under Jell-O recipes. To make things a little simpler for you, here are some of my favorite sites that I found:

www.chefandy.com/recipes this site contains an index with Jell-O recipes you may not have seen in years. (Like finger Jell-O recipes for the kids, and kids at heart).
For unusual Jell-O recipes for the dinner table, see www.goodlookingcooking.com.
The easiest site I found to navigate around in is www.recipegoldmine.com. Don’t miss this site even if you’re not into Jell-O recipes. It contains everything from food to gardening! This is one you’ll want to bookmark!

For the edible art Jell-O recipes I mentioned earlier, try www.suzette.typepad.com. She is also fondly known as the “soup lady”. I really like her sense of humor.
Last, but certainly not least is www.Kraftfoods.com. I have many times used this site for quick dinner ideas and desserts.

This is your chance to shine, dazzle your family and friends with unique Jell-O recipes which are as fun to make as they are to eat. Just think, they all come from gelatin!
