george-forman-grill.jpgLooking to find a few delicious recipes for food to fill the plates on your dinner table with and give your house a lovely aroma? Look no further, you can find them on the web right here! They require little time to prepare and are easy, low fat and convenient to make and are specially designed for cooking at home on your indoor George Foreman Grill.

Grilled Bacon
Take ¼ slab of bacon. Preheat your George Foreman Grill. Place partial slab bacon without separating. Close your George Foreman Grill for three to four minutes, open it up and turn your bacon. Close it again and cook until your desired crispness. Double the recipe for more bacon!

Bacon and Cheese Sandwich
4 strips of bacon, cooked and drain
2 slices of American cheese
2 slices of bread
2 teaspoons of butter.

Lightly butter one side of the bread slices. Place cheese on the unbuttered side of one slice of bread. Place bacon strips over top of cheese. Cover with the other slice of bread, buttered side up. Place sandwich on your George Foreman Grill and close lid for 4 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is melted to the end.

Teriyaki Finger Steaks
2 pounds boneless sirloin steak
½ cup soy sauce
¼ cup vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons minced onions
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 garlic clove, minced
½ teaspoon ground ginger
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Slice steak lengthwise into ½ inch strips, place in a large glass bowl. Combine all remaining ingredients, pour over meat and toss gently. Cover and refrigerate two to three hours. Drain, discard marinade. Loosely thread meat strips onto skewers and place on your George Foreman Grill. Check for doneness after three to four minutes. Remove from skewers and serve.

Grilled Lemon Oregano Chicken
½ teaspoon grated lemon peel
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 to 3 garlic cloves, crushed
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves

Combine all marinade ingredients. Add chicken breast halves to the marinade. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least two hours. Cook for approximately 4 to 5 minutes on your George Foreman Grill.

Potatoes
Doing potatoes on the George Foreman Grill is one recipe that is truly unique for it and cannot be duplicated by doing it any other way. They come out somewhat between a potato chip and a French fry.

Peel the potatoes and cut them into approximately 1/8 inch strips. Cover them with extra virgin olive oil or light olive oil. Spread them across the George Foreman Grill and try not to overlap them too much. If you cup them a little thicker, you’ll fit more but you don’t want to make them too thick. Cook for 27 to 30 minutes on your George Foreman Grill.
