Latest Fashion - What will you be wearing next season?
Every spring and fall, top designers, who have been working feverishly, unveil their creations at shows in New York and Paris, which help to decide what that season’s latest fashion will be. The models on the runways and catwalks wear the trends that will be prevalent for that particular season, whether spring or autumn.
Most of the chic clothing that is seen on the runways in Paris or New York is only a stepping-stone for the clothing for that season. Unfortunately, most of the clothes worn by the top models can only be afforded by the wealthy and famous. The prices for the latest fashion on the runways by the top designers are cost prohibitive to the normal working girl. Clothes that are shown at the shows are only going to be found in high-end boutiques and stores that cater to the rich and famous. Knock-off designers will show up at these events to gather ideas for their own collection, and make clothing that looks similar to the expensive latest fashion at a fraction of the cost.
Everyone wants to own a piece of the latest fashion in his or her wardrobe. A lot of trends are dictated by what celebrities are wearing. When the grunge look was in, as bad as it was, the famous helped it along. If the famous were wearing it, then the normal public felt that they had to also. You will hear things like, “Brown is the new black”, and “Pink is the new White”. If these statements are said, and stars start wearing a certain color, then that color is suddenly all the rage.
Fortunately for the market that can’t afford the high-end designer clothes, the latest trend is not off limits to us. The top designers have no rights to solely make that clothing design, therefore that lets the door be wide open for others to copy the latest fashion and sell to the general public.
Be careful not to fill your entire wardrobe with the latest fashion trend. This can get very pricey and because the latest fashion tends to be only for that season, you may end up spending a lot of money for something you may only wear a few months. Good advice to follow would be to add one or two pieces to your standard wardrobe in the latest fashion and mix and match it with things you already own. You will look chic and up to date without breaking your bank account!
