Herbie Fully Loaded - More than just a car
Herbie Fully Loaded is a film that was released in 2005 by Walt Disney Pictures and did very well at the box office. Herbie Fully Loaded features a cast of well known celebrities such as Lindsay Lohan, Michael Keaton, Matt Dillon, Breckin Meyer and Justin Long.
What is the story line behind the movie Herbie Fully Loaded? Maggie Peyton, who is played by Lindsay Lohan, is about to graduate from her university. Her father, Ray Peyton Sr., played by Michael Keaton, offers to buy her a used car as her graduation present. He then proceeds to drive her to a junkyard to pick one out from a large collection of used cars. Maggie wandered off into the array of used cars and found a model stock car that was in really bad condition, but she jumped in it anyway and pretended that she was racing. This car, which was parked nearby, saw her doing this. He took notice right away to her interest in racing and tries to get her attention, although he is unsuccessful in his first attempt. At the same time in Herbie Fully Loaded, Maggie came over to talk to her dad who was already there talking to the junk yard owner when this car started honking at her. When he did this, Maggie thought it was this other Nissan that was sitting there. Then, in Herbie Fully Loaded, he is picked up by this giant claw and is about to go into the car crusher for demolition. He’s desperate to get her attention so he turns on his windshield wipers and closes his doors but he’s still unable to get her attention. At the same time Maggie is about to offer her price for the Nissan, he is up in the claw and drops, right over the Nissan. Maggie is disappointed but she decides to buy him then for 75 dollars. As she’s driving home in Herbie Fully Loaded, the glove compartment opens and there’s an envelope in there for her to read which tells her to take care of the car, that he’ll help her find the answer to her problems. As she’s driving home, he suddenly decides to drive really fast and discovers that the car has a mind of it’s own and has a bigger future for her, which is becoming a Nascar driver.
