On the third Sunday in January every year, the biggest of the Hollywood stars join others on the red carpet to show of their elegant dresses at the Golden Globe fashions! This part of the evening is a prelude to the awards that are given out later and then even later are the parties and banquets. But on the red carpet it’s all about the Golden Globe fashions.
Top designers like Armani, Wang and Versace vie to dress the likes of the top actresses of the moment such as Eva Longoria and Nicole Kidman. This annual event almost has a runway feel instead of a globes event. These celebrities will look beautiful in flowing evening gowns, short strappy dresses and even the pregnant actresses will look glowing in their gorgeous dresses.
Backstage is another area for the Golden Globe fashions to shine. In the back, the winners will give interviews, and the losers will be consoled in the privacy of different rooms.

Hair designers will also outdo themselves with different coifs on each type of hair. For those that have long hair, some look like they did the style themselves, while others look like they took days for the style to be complete.
Each year at the Golden Globe fashions, there are always some that are talked about and maligned about what they wore. Some Golden Globe fashions are a hit and some are definite misses. Not necessarily by the designer, but the person shouldn’t be wearing that dress due to coloring or body shape, but it definitely didn’t look right on that particular star.

These jewelry will begin with a simple design and embellish it, with the hopes that either that star or someone else will see it and decide that they have to have it!
For most of us normal people, the Golden Globe fashions event on the red carpet is a way for us to dream about what it would be like to be them and glamorous and famous for one night! It takes us away from the humdrum of our normal lives to dream of American royalty!
