The World Wide Web is an amazing tool for anyone, but its launch marked the beginning of a new day for music fanatics everywhere. Now they could find info on their favorite artists with the click of a mouse…how their new album was, sample downloads of new singles and free song lyrics, and of course the all important tour dates and TV appearances.
I don’t know how many times I’ve listened to a song over and over, and still not been able to figure out what the heck some of these artists were saying. That’s where the many websites containing free song lyrics come in handy. Not only are there tons out there, but they’re simple to use. On the majority of the bigger sites with free song lyrics, you can search by artist, song title or albums. Of course, there are those that are advertising free song lyrics, and pop up on sponsored links in search engine, but when you go to click on them, you have to have a log in and sign up and all sorts of hassle to deal with when all you want are some easy to access free song lyrics so you can bump your favorite song and sing at the top of your lungs. Not to name names, but EZ-Tracks.com was one such link I was disappointed to click on. Lyrics.com is a good site not only for free song lyrics, but for other music news and various info as well as music forums.
AZlyrics.com is another site I’ve found useful and simple to use, with free song lyrics that are usually accurate. The website may seem less professional then others, but it pops up on all major search engines and has a more personal feel – the webmaster requests that if you discover any of the free song lyrics are inaccurate, write in, give the accurate lyrics, and get credit on the website. Maybe not an especially extraordinary reward, but its nice to get recognition for a job well done! Even if the only people who’ll recognize the contribution are people on the prowl for free stuff – free music downloads, free information, free song lyrics.
Some other good sites to check out for lyrics would be LyricsFreak.com, and SongLyrics.com. Now getting something for free is always great, but keep in mind, while many of these sites are providing free song lyrics and other services for the public, running the actual site is not free! Websites have advertising on them for a reason: its how the webmasters can pay to keep providing you with your free information! Want top help? Just click on the ads…you don’t even have to read them! A click on the right ad is all it takes to keep those downloads, info and free song lyrics coming!
