Tara Leigh Patrick also known as Carmen Electra was born on April 20 1972. She called home the town of White Oak near the city of Cincinnati, Ohio. Carmen Electra comes from Irish, German and Cherokee heritage. She attended Princeton High School in Sharonville, Ohio along with Nick Lachey form 98 degrees, better known as Jessica Simpson’s now ex- husband.
Carmen Electra was discovered by Prince at the age of eighteen, while fronting for a rap group in Los Angeles. She released a self titled album for Prince’s Paisley Park label in 1992 which failed miserably. Carmen Electra decided to shift gears. In 1996 she posed for playboy and replaced celebrity Jenny McCarthy as the co-host of the MTV highly rated dating game show singled out. When the TV show went off the air Carmen Electra took off to the beach to play a lifeguard, taking over the position of another blonde Pamela Anderson on the syndicated hit Baywatch. She stayed there for a year before moving into movies. She had a major part in the film Good Burger and an even larger role in indie movies, Starstruck, The Chosen One, and The Legend of the Raven In 1998 she married basketball star Dennis Rodman in the wedding Chapel of the Flowers in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am still trying to figure that one out. This infamous stunt that appeared on every news channel and only lasted a couple of day’s arguments her celebrity role. Although keeping her tabloid fame in a humorous perspective she had a role playing the female in the mockumentary The Mating Habits of Earthbound Humans. In 2000 she became the first victim in the horror movie Scary Movie.
In 2001 Carmen Electra became engaged to musician David M. Navarro. In 2002 she was ranked #59 in Stuff’s magazine’s 102 sexiest women in the world. Carmen Electra appeared on the cover of Playboy in April 2003 with a nude pictorial inside. Howard stern commented that she looks better noe then she did 10 years ago. She announced in 2003 she was planning on making a strip aerobics video. Carmen Electra married David on November 22, 2003 and is presently still married to him.
They would like to begin having children but their schedules constantly clash. They both can’t wait to become parents and realize it will take a lot more work then anticipated. Carmen Electra says she can’t wait to become a Mom, she says she loves little kids. Hopefully she knows they do grow up. I am sure she will still love them. Of course they shouldn’t expect any privacy. The press will be on hand taking pictures of the event when it happens. As they have done with other celebrities.
