American Idol - Find out what you’ve been missing
What is the fuss about? The hit TV series with a winner every year, American Idol. Is this the show that will help no-name singers like, Kelly Clarkson and Clay Aiken become famous entertainers? Well, it has. American Idol comes on every new season to find the best (and worst) singers to give them a chance to become a famous singer. American Idol is no reality TV show; it’s the best and worst of singers across America. Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson are the show’s judges that are sometimes nice and sometimes naughty. American Idol has been on the true quest for talent ever since the first show aired back in 2002. American Idol travels all over the states finding finalists in each city then reporting to Hollywood, for yet another cut in good singers.
On American Idol, Simon is not afraid to tell contestants that they are horrible singers. If I was making a million dollars a show I wouldn’t have a problem either! Common, I mean, some of those people have to know that they aren’t good singers, or made to be stars! Music in the shower sounds a lot different on the stage in front of millions! To be able to perform is another aspect that gets over looked. There are probably a lot of great singers that when they approach the stage, start to faint or forget the words of their song!
This show is a free way to get great entertainment at any time of day, of course that’s if you have TeVo! It’s a great show to watch with the family, see who gets eliminated that week, and see what contestant gets closer to their dreams. The TV show can also be a comedy, sometimes it’s funny to see what comments the judges have to say. I guess the ultimate prize is getting up on stage and singing to thousands of fans, under the bright stage lights, in front of a camera, and doing what you love to do, perform.
American Idol is also a great show for a number of people because of the large range of music that the contestants sing. From Classical to Country, each singer goes through a series of coaching to broaden their singing ranges.
