History of William ShakespeareThe history of William Shakespeare began on April 23, 1564 at home in Strathford, England born to John and Mary Arden.  He was the third of eight children and his educational background was thought to begin at the Strathford grammar school.   This was where the student studied Latin rhetoric, logic and literature as his imagination may have been spurred by reading ancient authors and English poetry.

His life as a married man began on November 1582 when he wedded Anne Hathaway.  He was 18 years of age and she was 26 year of age. The history of William Shakespeare family included three children, a twin boy named Hamneth and a twin girl named Judith, and the oldest was Susanna.

His career began in 1592 when Robert Green wrote a letter criticizing actors and writers.  It was this letter that implied that he was both an actor and a writer.
