So you’ve decided to tackle this project at home this year instead of paying someone to do your taxes? Turbo Tax software is the easiest software to use hands down. If you are not intuit you will still be able to use this program. You have the freedom with this program to enter all your information. The program does all the work. Turbo Tax offers a free support center number and online help to answer common questions.
No matter what your level of knowledge is, Turbo tax is by far the easiest of the tax software out there. You won’t be spending hours doing your taxes. Turbotax will walk you through step by step. If you are really wanting to make it simple group your things together first. Put your W2’s, 1099’s and any other wage information together. Then group deductions together. Also any child care receipts. That will make your task at hand a lot quicker. Turbo tax also runs the calculation and checks everything for you. If you’ve missed anything the software will prompt you to enter it. Turbo tax also checks for accuracy. Turbo tax will give you tips for this year and next year. You can also buy the state version of turbo tax. There is an option to download from quicken into Turbo tax which allows for even speedier results. Prices on the software aren’t bad either considering for a standard short form you pay an accountant $50-$75. The software ranges at about those prices too. You can even efile with the software.
In my opinion, after working for an accountant and using that software. Going through HR Block course and used that software as well. I would have to say that Turbo Tax is even more simple then those software programs. You can’t go wrong with this software. I would give this program 9 out of ten stars. It is user friendly, answers questions, offers suggestions, does the calculations, and efiles. You can’t even make mathematical errors.
